A Letter from Davao City

This is an appreciation post for a really far-away friend from Davao City, Philliphines, my virtual Mom slash Chittaphon trash, Kathlyn Mancera.

Maybe this is a little bit too late to do, but because I love Ket so much, I need to do this. 

I don't like being cheesy, but this is probably going to be super duper omega alpha extra cheesy but anyway I met Kathlyn (or Ket) on Twitter because we both love EXO and she stans Jongin while I stan Kyungsoo & Sehun. Kathlyn Mancera, or Ket, is one of the weirdest friend I have in life.

Weird in a good way. (((I TOLD YOU THIS IS GOING TO BE SO CHEESY)))

Okay honetsly I don't really remember when we first met on Twitter. We have many mutuals and I decided to follow her Twitter account. Oh, wait, she first greeted me on December 11th 2014 along with "Hello," and I replied it with, "Hello this is Nuha but you can call her panties HELLO OH GOD FINALLY YOU NOTICE ME,"  My humour.

She likes to tweet nonsense because she is nonsense, like seriously, she always pulls a really lame stuffs in our conversations, including Whatsapp. She has this special way of typing, like everyone will definitely know that it's Ket. 

Like example that day when Ket changed her phone number and pulled a prank on everyone including me, greeting me with, "Hi, Daddy," and after that she said she is Jennifer and next minute she is Sarah Jane.

We always have a really weird conversation, really.

She wrote me a cute letter on October 2015, and it arrived at my house on February when I was away doing my AIESEC Project. And then my sister gave the letter to me on April because she forgot it. Damn.

I'm so touched, it is such a really cute letter, with her small handwritten! 

The content of the letter is so cheesy I'm so done with her, but I'm so glad at the same time, and embarrassed too because there is this sentence of her saying that I am basically a Kyungsoo stan.

She always teases me that, everytime.

She also put mosquitoe repellent paches.

I told Ket how to use the sticker but then Ket told me I was stupid because it's mosquitoes patches. I still haven't used it because it's too cute, and until now I still believe that it's a sticker! All these patches and she decided to give me the pig one.

She also drew me a really cute picture, I appreciate her a lot even when she basically told me I'm trash. Thank you so much Ket for the time you had spent drawing me on a piece of paper. I never knew you are that creative.

Regardless of whatever ugly nicknames she gives to me, I still think she is the best Davao friend I have. (I only have one friend from Davao HAHAHAHA.)

I wish I can meet her in real life someday, but Davao City is so far away from Manila. I have to spend 3 days straight to go there by walking. I don't recommend you to do this. I wish there will be EXO concert in Davao too so that she will be happy.

On September 2nd 2016, yesterday, there was an explosion in Davao City as an act of terrorism and 14 people were killed. All I think is Ket like seriously! She told everyone on Twitter that she is so scared after the explosion happened. I hope her and her family will stay safe. I told her to not going out for a while and stay at home. If I were her, I would be freaking out as well knowing there are bad people still walking freely out there dropping bombs in your city. I can't imagine that.
